These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Joblyn desktop application and related services (“Joblyn”, “the Service”), provided by the operator of Joblyn (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Joblyn, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Joblyn is a desktop application that provides a real-time meeting and interview copilot (live transcription and AI-generated answer suggestions), screen-aware assistance, and productivity features such as a focus timer and desktop companion. AI-generated content is provided for assistance and preparation only and may be inaccurate or incomplete; you are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use it.

2. Accounts

Some features require you to sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a subscription.

3. Subscriptions, billing & payments

Joblyn Premium is offered as a recurring monthly subscription at the price displayed at checkout (currently US$9.99/month or local equivalent), plus any applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable sales tax/VAT/GST. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.
Your subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
We do not store your full card or payment details; these are handled by Paddle.

4. Acceptable use

Joblyn is intended for legitimate uses such as meeting notes, interview and exam preparation and practice, studying, accessibility, and assistance in conversations you are a participant in. You agree that you will:

comply with all applicable laws and with the rules, terms, and codes of conduct of any platform, employer, educational institution, or examination you participate in;
not use Joblyn to gain an unfair or unauthorized advantage where that is prohibited (for example, in a monitored/proctored assessment that forbids outside assistance);
not misuse, reverse-engineer, resell, or attempt to circumvent the Service’s limits or security.

You are solely responsible for how you use Joblyn and for ensuring your use is permitted in your context.

5. Intellectual property

Joblyn, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Joblyn for its intended purpose while your subscription is active. Content you provide (such as your résumé or notes) remains yours.

6. Third-party services

Joblyn relies on third-party services, including Google (sign-in, speech-to-text, and the Gemini AI model), Google Cloud, Firebase, and Paddle (payments). Your use of those features is also subject to the respective providers’ terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AI suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Joblyn and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections intended to survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) continue to apply.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
